Cove Recovery Joins Worcester County Walk for Recovery in Celebration of National Recovery Month
Cove Recovery proudly participated in the Worcester County Walk for Recovery on Saturday, September 9th, an event hosted by The Atlantic Club and Worcester Goes Purple. The walk, which took place on the scenic Ocean City Boardwalk, was organized to commemorate National Recovery Month and to raise awareness about the importance of recovery and the resources available to those in need.
As a sponsor of the event, Cove Recovery set up a table to engage with the community, offering insights into their services and the broader mission of supporting the recovery and well-being of their clients. Alongside hundreds of enthusiastic attendees, a dedicated team from Cove Recovery also joined the walk, showcasing their commitment to the cause and the community they serve.
The day was marked by clear skies, a gentle breeze, and a palpable sense of unity among all who attended. The boardwalk was alive with energy as walkers from various backgrounds came together to support and celebrate the journey of recovery. Heather Schultz, the Substance Abuse Clinical Director of Cove Recovery, shared her thoughts on the event: “The Walk for Recovery was a fantastic event in Worcester County to celebrate National Recovery Month. Our team was able to connect with other resources in the county and have a fun walk on the Ocean City Boardwalk.”
The event not only served as a reminder of the strength and resilience of those in recovery but also highlighted the importance of community support and collaboration. Cove Recovery’s participation underscores their unwavering commitment to fostering a healthier community and supporting those on their path to recovery.
